The Côte d'Azur
One of the advantages of living on the Cote d’Azur is that the mountains are so close to the coast.

Within two hours, you can leave the beach, and be skiing down a mountain in one of the numerous ski resorts.

From Cannes to Nice passing through Antibes and Menton towards the Italien border, is one of the most prestigious coastlines in the world, boasting some of the most luxurious residences.

The Cote d’Azur is renowned for it's sandy beaches, the “Croisette” in Cannes and the “Promenade des Anglais” in Nice. Both towns have also kept their traditional “old town” where you will find flower and food markets. Between these two cities there are also some magnificent medieval villages (St. Paul, Vence, Mougins, Les Hauts de Cagnes). In most of these villages you will find numerous art galleries and artisan shops selling local products and artifacts.

The Cote d’Azur is also famous for its’ festivals: The Nice Carnival, The Cannes Film Festival, The Juan les Pins Jazz Fesitval and Monaco Grand Prix are some of the most important events.

Golf lovers will find over 20 of the most beautiful golf courses, and with 300 days of sunshine a year, this is the perfect golfing paradise.

A short 15 minute drive through winding countryside roads will take to places like The Verdon Canon where you will experience breathtaking views from meandering roads.

The countryside is also rich with Mediterranean vegetation, as you drive through you will inhale the wonderful aromas of pine trees, thyme, lavender and abundant fruit trees.

For this reason Grasse has become the perfume capital of the world.
